Large selection and the ability to vary the size is very good. The service was also very friendly. Unfortunately the food was very salty. Still, I can recommend the restaurant.

We were here for the first time and I have to say the service and the food was absolutely great. There is nothing wrong with that. You can't complain about the price. Best to pre-order. With pleasure again soon (:

It's small, but it's more than fine. I will be eating here again next time I visit. The schnitzel was more than good, the meat was homemade. But it's best to pre-order.

A nice village restaurant with a rich history, dating back to 1773, when it was built as a miller's house. Real Harz dishes, but especially schnitzels, which are made in 20 different ways. Personally, I like the schnitzel with ragout and over-baked cheese best, but there is something for everyone. Portions are generous, but the hungry and small eaters have also been thought of. So 3 different sizes of portions. Oh yes, friendly staff, too. So highly recommended.

Super delicious food, even the senior portion is huge and very nice service. But make a reservation! Will be back when we're in the Harz Mountains again.

Pan-fried schnitzel and all the variations we had were delicious. The small size is completely sufficient for normal hunger, after the medium one you are full and the large size needs a fairly large stomach. The service was very nice and, above all, quick. Prices aren't cheap for a rural restaurant, but the food is definitely worth it.

Very good food here. Shame we didn't discover this restaurant until the last day of our holiday ... otherwise we would have eaten here more often.

Super delicious food! After we were already enthusiastic about everything yesterday, this continues. As soon as we were sitting at the table, the landlady came and brought us the drinks as we had the evening before. :-) Someone still understands the service idea. Can't be better. Unfortunately our vacation is already over, but when we are back in the region it will be our first choice.

Very friendly and courteous service. Eat good. The schnitzels are wonderful and, above all, very well crafted. The way it should be. Original cut from the top shell and fried in the pan, crispy and juicy. Request side dish generous and also really good. After the last day I'm really delighted somewhere else. Good drinks menu, leaves nothing to be desired. We would like to come again.

Had dinner at the Bräustübl for three evenings I just have to say world class. I can only recommend it. Thank you for the nice service and the delicious food.

With a huge selection, I always get skeptical. But I have to say despite the huge selection is much fresh and there is a very good kitchen. The food is large and also have moderate prices. The service is friendly and the food comes quickly. A good place to eat schnitzel.

We just went back to this little restaurant for the forth time in six years. This was actually the only reason we went to Friedrichsbrunn and one of the main reasons for us to revisit the Harz. That is just how good their schnitzels are!
